Eva Mendes is an American model and actress. Her talent was noticed by an agent and encouraged her to enter the business of entertainment. She dropped out of university after much thought about an entertainment career. Her first film was the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, however, she wasn't thrilled with how the film turned out. In an effort to show herself she acted in a variety of low-budget films to improve her acting. This was no effortless path for this actor but her determination and patience earned her acclaim. Her acting career began when she was able to earn recognition, praise and acknowledgement for her performance for her role in Training Day.
